Wow, wow, wow!! Really? Are you sure? How many weeks gone are you? And... is it mine? Are all perfectly valid questions to ask when you get home from work one evening to find your wife brandishing a pregnancy test stick and a huge smile.
We had decided before the wedding in May that we would start trying for a baby as soon as we were married as we both wanted to start a family and neither of us were getting any younger. What we didn't plan for was how quickly that family would start....We were extremely fortunate in our first month of trying Lisa fell pregnant and I was both elated that my boys were up to the job but also slightly dismayed that the trying seemed to be over before it had begun!!
